Here’s how I typically start a new project:
Step 1: Discovery
We begin by gathering insights. You’ll complete a design brief questionnaire and share a moodboard of visuals, logos, or images that inspire you — Pinterest works well for this.
We then have a video call to discuss your input, explore your objectives, and clarify the project scope. Following this, I’ll send a proposal and contract. Once agreed, and after a 50% deposit is received, we move into the creative phase.
Step 2: Research & Ideation
I review all materials and research competitors, industry trends, and styles that might influence the design direction. This informs the brainstorming process, where I sketch initial ideas and explore creative directions.
Step 3: Design & Presentation
The strongest concepts are developed digitally. I’ll present the designs, explain the thinking behind them, and show how they work across real-world applications.
Step 4: Refinement
You’ll receive PDFs to review and share with your team. Providing consolidated feedback helps keep revisions precise and efficient. Thanks to careful planning and research, most projects are completed within three rounds of revisions.
Step 5: Delivery
Once the design is approved and final payment received, you’ll be provided with all final files for print, digital, and physical use.
After the project is complete, I’m always just a phone call or email away. Whether you need guidance on applying your new design, adapting it for new applications, or simply a second opinion, I’m here to offer advice and support whenever you need it.
