Fox Farm
_____

My design process:
Background, Fox Farm has been a farmstead since the early 19th century. The current owners grow and produce a variety of organic products, which they sell from the side of the road and farm shop. They have ambitious plans to expand sales to other retail outlets in the South East and to create a website.
The brief, Design a logo and develop brand identity ideas for website, packaging, and social media that evoke a sense of nostalgia and tradition. The objective is to create a brand that customers can trust and feel connected to. The overall tone of the brand identity should be warm and friendly, making customers feel like they are supporting a local business.
Concept, The brand needs to capture a sense of nostalgia and tradition, as well as the quality of organic products and Suffolk countryside roots. To align with this ethos, keywords from a brainstorming session were used to form the strap-line "Heritage Suffolk Craft Produce". I also came up with the idea of an illustrated Farmer Fox character in the style of Victorian and Edwardian Mr Fox characters, tipping his hat as a greeting. The character could be used in the logo design and as an emblem in its own right.
Brand development, After producing the drawings and finalising the design, I looked at how the logo could be applied to other media, including packaging, stationery, website, and a social media campaign. I also designed a repeating pattern that could be used as wrapping paper and backgrounds for other branding assets, finishing off with a brand guidelines manual.
It would be great to hear from you, whatever stage you're at in your brand journey
